Student will address how he/she has grown in his/her four years of high school. He/she should indicate how he/she has grown personally and academically.
Paragraph 2.
Student will address how he/she has grown as a person. For example, the student may describe how a once insecure freshman has become a confident senior ready to graduate from high school. In addition, the student may show how he/she has become an active member of the student body through the participation in sports, dance, drama and other school activities. Student may also reflect on how he/she has contributed to the community both in and outside of school.
Paragraph 3.
Student will reflect on his/her overall growth academically. He/she will describe what he or she has learned in high school and how this education will be applied to his/her future career goals.
Paragraph 4.
Conclusion: Student will sum up for the reader what was most significant for him/her as a learner and a person throughout his/her high school experience.

· Sound natural as though you were having a conversation with yourself.
· Examine what you have experienced and how you have grown from several different perspectives to get the best picture.
· Show a clear change between how you used to think and the way you do now.
